Jazz Improvisation, June 6-10, 13-17

Students will learn to play jazz styles within the context of a small group
setting. Objectives: 1) play stylistically correct for swing, Latin, funk/rock
styles 2) learn basic improvising strategies 3) experience 2-3 jazz standards
4) introduction to the basic principles of jazz theory. (Minimum for 4 students required.)
