This 10-week session is for students who want to play a wind instrument (flutes, clarinets, alto saxes, trumpets, trombones). Students will begin reading through the Level I (red) Standard of Excellence Band Method book. The students must commit to practicing at home at least 4 days a week for about 20 minutes each day to keep up and maximize progress as a group. The focus will be on learning how to play their instruments, basic note reading, counting rhythms, and playing together as a group. Be Part of The Band!!

This is a group for registered students with special needs who are also taking private lessons at The Shepherd’s Church. Jammin’ Jents performs in the community at least 2 times a year and plays mellow rock music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Participation is by teacher recommendation.

Cost: $100.00 per 10-week session. If registration occurs after the session start date, the fee will be pro-rated for the number of weeks remaining – the payment link will be sent once the minimum number of students is confirmed.
