This is an introduction for students interested in beginner band or orchestra. Come join us for a half-day camp to meet the four instrument families: strings,
woodwinds, brass, and percussion. Each participant will have an opportunity to play various instruments along with playing interactive music games. Each student also has the option of one free lesson on the instrument of
their choice.
Fee: $60.00 (Payment is due once the minimum number has been registered)

Come learn the basics of the guitar. Students will learn at least three chords using the first three strings as well as the notes on strings 1-3, allowing them to play many songs out of the songbook. In addition to playing guitar, they will learn how to read music on the treble clef, guitar theory and technique, and strumming patterns using music games and other activities. Each student also has the option to register for 4 private guitar lessons at a discounted price.

This is a group for registered students with special needs who are also taking private lessons at The Shepherd’s Church. Jammin’ Jents performs in the community at least 2 times a year and plays mellow rock music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Participation is by teacher recommendation.
