This group is for Advanced Intermediate to Advanced band students. will play 4-part arrangements that are interchangeable with various instruments. Students will practice rhythms, intonation and sight reading and learn basic theory concepts in a small ensemble setting. Participants should be able to count and play rhythms that include eighth notes, sixteenth notes, and dotted rhythms; and should be familiar with the Concert Bb, Eb, F and C scales. Students that have participated previously are welcome. New students must audition prior to first week.
Fall 10-week session: September 14 – November 16 (Winter session: January 4 -March 8; Spring session: March 15 – May 17)
(Spring 10-week session: March 16-May 18)
Fee: $100 per 10-week session; ($75 for students currently enrolled in weekly private lessons at Sheherd’s Music School) The payment link will be provided after registration.

This is a group for registered students with special needs who are also taking private lessons at The Shepherd’s Church. Jammin’ Jents performs in the community at least 2 times a year and plays mellow rock music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Participation is by teacher recommendation.
