International Piano Judge and Pedagogy Clinician
Gail Lew is a music editor, arranger, piano teacher, clinician, and nationally respected leader in the field of piano pedagogy.
She is the New Music Reviewer for the North Carolina Music Teachers Association Journal, and a judge for piano competitions at state, national, and international events. Gail graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in piano performance, M.A. in music history and literature, and a Lifetime California State Teaching Credential with specialization in music education.
She taught students of all levels for over 30 years in California before relocating to North Carolina. Gail is a member of the Cary Apex Piano Teachers Association, the Raleigh Piano Teachers Association, the Music Teachers National Association, and the National Guild of Piano Teachers. Highlights of her career included tenure as senior piano editor for Kjos Music Publishing and director of keyboard publications for Warner Bros. Music.
Gail continues to train students who have received state, local, and national honors, have earned their High School Diploma in piano through the National Guild of Piano Teachers, and who will continue to enjoy a lifetime of musical enjoyment.
